Guests now have the chance to be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves on the river Seine … by spending the night aboard one of the two barges Le boudoir de Serendipity and Johanna.
Loving couples looking for ideas for a romantic break can opt for these floating hotels, which offer intimacy and an unusual setting. The barges and yacht each offer different atmospheres onboard, adapted to their clients moods and wishes. Moored close to the Musée d’Orsay, the barge Johanna has a welcoming rustic setting with lacquered wood panelling dating back to the 1930s. It has two comfortable cabins and offers the advantage of being centrally-located in the capital. Situated in the Paris region, at Asnières-sur-Seine, Le boudoir de Serendipity offers an unusual setting and eccentric bedrooms, created by a young Breton, passionate about interior decoration.
Hotel OFF Paris Seine
The Hotel OFF Paris Seine is a hotel situated ... on the Seine! Architect Gérard Ronzatti, from the agency Paris Seine, has chosen transparency for the facades of the public areas and fine materials (wood, copper, leather, glass, zinc ...) for the interiors. The result: an unusual, elegant and luxurious place perfectly integrated into the surrounding environment. Lying between the Cité de la Mode et du Design and the Bibliothèque National de France - François Mitterrand, this hotel on the water offers 57 comfortable rooms (including 2 suites), a food bar, offering light meals, a pool, a marina and a temporary quayside terrace.

Le boudoir de Serendipity
In English, the term ‘serendipity’ is the capacity for finding marvellous things not looked for. Marie chose this word to invite guests aboard the barge to enjoy new and enriching experiences. Moored at Asnières-sur-Seine, the little boat has been fully converted by the young Breton and her husband.
A passionate decorator, she has chosen to mix contemporary and antique furniture to give their barge an unusual and timeless atmosphere.
Le boudoir de Serendipity has three bedrooms each with its own unique atmosphere, created by the mix of second-hand furniture, perfumed candles and bunches of flowers. The salon and the terraces by the water’s edge welcome guests in the morning for a gourmet and romantic breakfast.
