In Paris, numerous terraces, bars, restaurants and monuments afford stunning views of the capital. Here’s a selection.
Tourist attractions such as Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, the Montparnasse Tower and its restaurant The Ciel de Paris, the Tours de Notre-Dame (closed to the public until further notice), the Sacré-Cœur, the Fondation Louis-Vuitton or the Ballon Generali at the Parc André-Citroën are well-known for offering breathtaking views of Paris. For fans of spectacular views and people who would like to know the best places with a view, here is a choice selection that will give you another perspective on Paris … Wonderful surprises in view!
Of course, there are the latest hip rooftop addresses: the Perchoir with a second address on the roof of the BHV Marais, the W at the Hôtel Warwick Champs-Elysées, the Georges at Beaubourg, Communion and the Wanderlust at Les Docks … from where the view is suberb.
But less-well-known spots are also well worth visiting, and finding a seat might be easier! Sometimes this may be a simple street corner or an elevated little public garden or park - Parc des Buttes Chaumont, parc de Belleville - with an unobstructed view offering a different perspective of the Paris skyline. A unique panorama guaranteed and a source of pleasure that no fan of Paris should miss out on.
- Due to the current situation related to the Coronavirus pandemic, Parisian establishments welcoming the public (restaurants, rooftop bars, monuments, etc.) and Parisian parks may have to modify their opening hours, and reduce their capacity in order to guarantee the respect of current health and safety guidelines.
