Museums open late in the evening in Paris

Several museums in Paris stay open late so that the public can visit at night.

What could be better than finding yourself almost alone as you stroll through the galleries of a museum? Impossible? Not so in Paris, Just go to one of the late night opening evenings, when most people have left the premises.

Late night and even all-night opening hours enable visitors to view works of art, with perhaps fewer crowds. The Palais de Tokyo is open all year long, until midnight.

Every year, during the highly-popular La nuit des musées, many Parisian museums open all night.
