Paris’s museumsmonumentstheatres, concert halls and organizers of trade fairs and trade shows have adapted amazingly well to the situation and are proposing virtual visits and online events. Check out what’s on in Paris from the comfort of your own home on the screen of your laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Museums, including the LouvreMusée d'OrsayPompidou CentreFondation Louis VuittonMusée des Arts et Métiers and many more, are now making their programmes available on their websites, on dedicated platforms and /or on social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc.). Some are even offering access to past exhibitions, so if you missed one this is a great chance to catch up.

The museums run by the city of Paris, including the Modern ArtCernushi and Bourdelle museums, can be visited remotely too.

A number of cultural institutions – Grand PalaisAtelier des LumièresMusée en HerbeCluny Museum-The Medieval WorldMusée de l'Air et de l'EspaceInstitut GiacomettiNatural History Museum among others – can also be visited online. Some of their events are specifically designed for families and children.

Virtual visits allow you to discover the finest details of some of Paris’s iconic monuments and castles including the roofs of the Palais Garnier opera house, the Hall of Mirrors at the Château de Versailles, and the magnificent function rooms of Paris’s Hôtel de Ville – its virtual exhibitions are free of charge. Admire the construction of the Eiffel Tower or the Art Deco architecture of the Palais de la Porte Dorée.

Until they can reopen, Paris’s theatresopera houses and concert halls are featuring online performances, and numerous musicians, stand-up comedians and speakers are live-streaming their events

Trade fairs and trade shows are some of the other must-see events in Paris’s diary that can be experienced in digital format.
