In summer, festival-goers can enjoy these great events outdoors. Here is a selection of not-to-be-missed events, to discover festive and cultural Paris outdoors!
PARIS MUSIC FESTIVAL

19 to 22 May 2022
The Paris Music Festival celebrates music in all its diverse forms, featuring everything from pop and electro to rap, jazz and classical music. Over four days, artists and audiences will come together not only in concert venues but also at some of Paris’s legendary heritage sites, including the musée Carnavalet, Le Balzac Cinema and Ground Control.
Le Printemps des Rues

28 to 29 May 2022
For more than 25 years now, the most popular street art festival in Paris has been held around the Canal Saint-Martin. For 2 days, artists, slammers and theatre companies offer live performances to ever-bigger audiences. A free event which takes place this year in the 10th and 18th arrondissements.
Festival Explore Paris

1st June to 30 September 2022
The Festival ‘Explore Paris’ offers visitors the opportunity to discover Greater Paris, on foot, by boat or by bike. Discover or rediscover Parisian heritage through more than 1,500 visits led by enthusiastic guides, and at attractive prices.

WE LOVE GREEN

2 to 5 June 2022
We Love Green is one of the mainstays of Paris’s festival calendar. It’s a large-scale event, resolutely ethical and eco-friendly. It offers an eclectic, international programme of music together with opportunities to explore environmental themes.
La Défense Jazz festival

20 June to 26 June 2022
Every year in June, jazz stars get together in the business district of La Defense for a week of exceptional concerts! The forecourt becomes a platform for all types of jazz and even other musical styles. A free outdoor event with a quality line-up.
Cinema outdoors at the Parc de La Villette

20 July to 21 August 2022
During the 2 months of summer, the lawn at the Parc de la Villette is transformed into an open-air cinema. Relax in a deckchair or on the grass and enjoy, for free, one or more of the feature films selected for this extremely popular festival. A great outdoor event for family and friends.
Festival Européen Jeunes Talents

3 June to 22 July 2022
For this 22th edition, the European Young Talents Festival brings together the most talented musicians – winners of international classical music competitions. Thrilling moments to enjoy with these young instrumentalists at concerts (some free, some paying) mainly in the Marais (3rd), but also in the Buttes Chaumont (19th) or in the Square Saint-Lambert (public garden) (15th).
L’Eté du Canal, l’Ourcq en Fête

9 July to 14 August 2022
Every year during the 2 months of summer, the banks of the Canal de L'Ourcq are the scene of fun and festivities! With dances, concerts, water sports, film screenings, seasonal bars and even cruises, this canal summer festival is an opportunity to experience summer in an offbeat way in the sun in Paris.
PEPELE FESTIVAL

The Pépélé Festival is a newcomer to Paris’s summer festival circuit. Come along and spend an entire day moving to the rhythm of Afrobeats in a former military barracks. Attractions include a large food area and Classics Only karaoke, where you can sing your heart out to top tunes from the 90s and 2000s.
Paris l'Eté Festival

11 to 31 July 2022
Each year, the Paris l'Eté Festival takes place in Paris and the inner suburbs. Since 1990, this major event has been offering (mainly) free performances of dance, theatre, circus, and concerts in parks, at monuments and in Parisian squares.
DREAM NATION FESTIVAL

16 and 17 September 2022
Head for Le Bourget exhibition centre for this two-day open air electronic music festival. With a packed and varied programme, Dream Nation is top of the bill for all electro fans!
LA FÊTE DE L’HUMANITE

9 to 11 Septembre 2022
Fête de l’Humanité is more than just a festival, it’s an experience to be shared. It celebrates tolerance, freedom and community spirit. The event lasts for three days offering a wide choice of concerts for all generations together with exhibitions, shows, debates and stands run by organisations from all over the world.
