New Year in Paris: Let’s bring in the New Year!

Paris is full of ideas for going out and partying on December 31st.

Do you remember that one of your New Year’s resolutions in 2014 was to celebrate New Year’s Eve in style in 2014? Well that is perfect because here you are in Paris. New Year in the City of Light spells a magical decor and the popping of champagne corks for an enchanting evening. Countdown:

2015 is not far away! The ballet Flamenco by Sara Baras will give you a new taste for dance, at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. What’s more, the avenue of the same name (the most famous avenue in Paris) is a real red carpet and you are the star. Wherever you look, restaurants, night clubs and concept bars are all decorated for an unforgettable evening.


3 !... 2 !... 1 !... Midnight! Everyone kisses!

If you find yourself in Place de l’Etoile, you may as well stay there and bring in the New Year through the Arc de Triomphe!  For the first time, the city of Paris is organizing a festive event at the foot of the monument. And that is not all: the next day a big parade will enable you to keep fatigue at bay and spirits high – making the magic last a little longer.

 

  • A special video show will be projected on the Arc de Triomphe from 11:30pm on the evening of the 31st December
  • A festive parade for families to enjoy will take place on the Champs Elysées at 2pm on the 1st January

 

+1 hr… and even longer, with dancing until dawn

It’s time to stretch your legs, the party has just begun. Everyone is in dancing mood at Les Planches, Le DuplexParty with champagne de rigueur then a coffee, and you’ll happily make the transition through to the morning of 1 January 2015, the perfect time to enjoy your first croissant of the year.
