Played for the first time on Broadway in 1972 and adapted for cinema in 1978 in a film starring the wonderful duo John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, Grease is one of the most popular musicals of all times! Mixing rock ‘n’ roll and love songs, it still makes you want to sing and dance.
The story: Sandy has just moved to Chicago with her family and starts school at Rydell High School, where she meets Danny, the boy that she had had a holiday romance with that summer. He is the gang leader of the T-Birds and is more concerned with his bad boy image and so rejects Sandy. She decides to join the Pink Ladies gang and sets out to win back the affections of Danny …
The musical Grease is performed in French however some songs remain in English. For this occasion, the Mogador Theatre has two screens with surtitles in English to enable all the public to follow the show.
