Lockdown doesn’t have to rhyme with feeling down, and the best way to stay positive right now is to indulge in a sweet treat. Paris has an abundance of talented bakers, pastry makers, ice cream makers and chocolate makers who have stayed open during lockdown and who also offer home delivery. It would be a pity not to take advantage of this opportunity!

Lafayette Maison & Gourmet

Opposite the famous Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Hausmann, the department store’s gourmet food branch proposes a selection of the best known names in chocolate- and pastry-making. Le Magasin Gourmet is open Mondays to Saturdays during lockdown from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm (except public holidays).
