Lots of new things to see and do in 2019!
In 2019, Disneyland® Paris has a whole host of new surprises. Whether it’s your 1st time or your 25th, you won’t forget your magical visit to Disneyland® Paris! Kids and grown-ups alike can try out the new version of ‘Star Tours: The Adventures Continue’ for a brand-new intergalactic voyage, as well as meet Darth Vader in person, roam the Star Wars universe with ‘Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain’, enjoy the new 4D film-concert Mickey’s Philharmagic at the Discoveryland Theater, and admire the legendary ‘Disney Stars on Parade’ with lots of floats and costumes, as well as the new nighttime sound and light show ‘Disney Illuminations’ that combines projections, water jets, lasers and pyrotechnics.
After over a year of renovations, the iconic attraction Phantom Manor is due to reopen in 2019, plunging visitors into an even scarier experience!
Inspired by the theme park established in California 50 years ago, Disneyland® Paris is today made up of two separate parks: the Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park. Both parks feature themed and seasonal attractions (at Christmas, Halloween, and so on), open air and indoor shows, and, of course, you can meet your favourite Disney characters.
Disneyland Park: once upon a time in an enchanted kingdom…
Disneyland Park is huge. It ranges over 51 hectares and includes five enchanted lands where children and adults can enjoy over 40 attractions.
- Main Street U.S.A. is the principal route through the park. It is styled after the main road through a small 20th century American town, lined with shops and restaurants. Straight on for the wonderful world of Disney!
- Fantasyland – enter via the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle and discover an enchanted universe which captures the storybooks and fairy tales of your childhood. From Princess Aurora to Peter Pan, Pinocchio to Snow White and Alice in Wonderland to Dumbo.
Must see attractions: Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, It’s a small world, Peter Pan’s Flight, the Adventures of Pinocchio and more!
- Frontierland evokes wide open spaces, the conquest of the American Midwest, the Mississippi with its famous paddle boats, the magnificent scenery of the Wild West and the Californian Gold Rush. A Wild West village, an Indian encampment, an abandoned mine… it’s like you’re really there!

- Adventureland invites you to take a journey to the East, to the African savannah, to the jungles of Asia and not forgetting the Caribbean with its famous pirates – a tribute to Treasure Island.
Must see attractions: Adventure Isle, La Cabane de Robinson, the Pirate Galleon, Indiana Jones® and the Temple of Peril, Phantom Manor and more!
- Discoveryland honours the futures imagined by the likes of Jules Verne and Leonardo da Vinci. It offers an exciting combination of space travel, galactic conquest and deep sea discovery.

Walt Disney Studios Park: the golden age of animation
Walt Disney Studios Park is the latest park here, having opened in 2002. Delve into the incredible world of movies and animation through more than ten attractions, recreated movie sets, special effects, film studios and, of course, learn the secret of Disney animation.
Must see attractions: Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, Crush’s Coaster®, Ratatouille: The Adventure, RC Racer, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster, Les Tapis Volants – Flying Carpets Over Agrabah®, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and more!

A festival of characters
Marvel superheroes are coming to Disneyland® Paris from 23 March to 16 June 2019. For the first time, Captain Marvel and Groot are joining all the other legendary characters like Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Immersive, interactive shows mark this new season alongside the cinema releases of the new films Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame.
From 18 to 28 June 2019, Disneyland® Paris is also celebrating another movie release, Toy Story 4, with Toy Story Play Days. For 11 days, the Walt Disney Studios Park will be welcoming famous characters from the film: Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and for the first time, Bo-Peep and Forky. Plus, there are lots of activities and surprises in store at the Toy Story Playland.
Finally, the Lion King and Jungle Festival (30 June to 22 September) will be an extraordinary voyage into two of Disney’s legendary tales: The Lion King and The Jungle Book. Discover (or rediscover) these cult movies with two brand-new musical shows, as well as unforgettable experiences to share with all the family.
Unforgettable musical experiences
At Disneyland® Paris, you and your family can also attend jazz, hip hop and electro concerts and see world-renowned artists, all while enjoying certain attractions until late into the night!
The Disneyland® Paris Hip Hop Live Experience will consist of two unique musical nights on 7 and 8 June 2019 with a line-up of big names in hip hop, including Dadju, Gims, Vegedream and Aya Nakamura.
On 15 June 2019, Disney Loves Jazz will be shining a spotlight on jazz of all styles by welcoming China Moses, Hugh Coltman and Thomas Dutronc.
Finally, the electro music festival Electroland is returning for its 3rd edition on 5, 6 and 7 July 2019 with a dozen world-famous DJs including Steve Aoki, Armin van Buuren and Alesso. Plus, the attractions are specially reserved for attendees!
Every year, Disneyland® Paris offers an amazing, magical race for running fans big and small. At the Disneyland® Paris runWeekend, you can run throughout the Disney® Parks while enjoying exceptional entertainment. On the programme for the 4th edition (19 to 22 September 2019) are special races for kids, a marathon, a half-marathon, a 5 km race and a 10 km race.
There are 3 runDisney Kids Races for little ones: the 100 m (age 1-3), the 200 m (age 4-7) and the 1 km (age 8-12). The Disneyland Paris® 5 km (age 5+) and the Disneyland Paris® 10 km (age 14+) are perfect for running as a family. Whatever your age or level, you can take part in this sporting challenge and take home a famous Disney® medal specially designed for the occasion.
Getting to Disneyland® Paris
Whether you are coming from Paris, elsewhere in France or further afield, there are plenty of travel options to get you to Disneyland® Paris.
Travelling by train (SNCF/Ouigo), alight at Marne-La Vallée TGV station to get to the theme park.
If your plane lands at Orly or Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, you can take the Magical Shuttle which runs daily to Disneyland® Paris.
From Paris, local public transport is a practical and cost-effective way to get to the theme park. Take the RER A towards Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy and alight at the terminus, Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk. The daily Disneyland Paris Express shuttle will get you there and back in a day from Paris (Gare du Nord, Opéra and Châtelet).
Finally, if you prefer to come by car, take the A4 motorway or the Francilienne (A86) from the south. From the north, head towards Metz/Nancy and follow the signs for Disneyland® Paris, taking exit 14 for Parcs Disney® and Bailly-Romainvilliers. Visitor parking is available (for a fee).
