Disneyland® Paris invites you to the heart of an imaginary land straight out of the storybooks and childhood fairy tales. Enter into an extraordinary world of full-scale replicas where iconic characters from Disney animations come to life !
From 6 March 2022, a new era begins at Disneyland Paris (Marne-La-Vallée), which is turning 30 this year. To celebrate the event, all the Disney characters are inviting people of all ages to come and discover some amazing new events laced with dreams and magic.
All-new celebrations throughout the year
More than 200 shows have been created to enchant visitors since the park first opened in 1992. For the 30th anniversary, an all-new show will be performed on Central Plaza at the foot of the newly renovated Sleeping Beauty’s castle. More than 30 Disney characters accompanied by scores of dancers on brand-new floats will celebrate the power of laughter, passion and dreams. The stars of this eagerly awaited new show will be dressed in iridescent holographic costumes created especially for the amusement park’s 30th anniversary.
At nightfall, there will be a spectacular pre-show called Disney D-Light, combining video projections, illuminated water jets, lighting effects, mist, lasers, famous Disney songs – and a ballet featuring 200 drones! This innovative pre-show celebrates the future of the legendary amusement park.
For the 30th anniversary of the amusement park, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends will welcome visitors into 10 different enchanting gardens filled with illuminated plants. They will unveil their new anthem filled with optimism and hope, ‘A world that lights up’. The food and beverage experience will contribute to the magic, with exclusive tasty treats such as a marshmallow tartlet and a Mickey millefeuille.
A new era
For the first time in nearly a century, Minnie, the world’s second-most famous mouse, will swap her 450 dresses and skirts for a magnificent new outfit – a sustainable blue trouser suit with black polka dots. The French amusement park chose the British designer Stella McCartney for this fashion collaboration. By creating the signature look, the designer also chose Minnie as “a true symbol of progress for a new generation”: a great initiative for Women’s History Month.
Opening of the Avengers Campus
An all-new land, the Avengers Campus, is set to open in Summer 2022 as part of the transformation of the Walt Disney Studios. It will have new attractions, new Marvel missions and of course your favourite superheroes. Millions of visitors are expected to get swept up in this unforgettable and totally immersive experience.
