Description

The Gare Montparnasse, situated on the Left Bank, is one of the main SNCF train stations in Paris. The current train station, built in the 1960s during the creation of the Montparnasse Tower, houses the Jardin Atlantique and has imposing internal concrete architecture. An historic event took place at the station on 25 August 1944 when General Von Choltitz surrendered during the Second World War, which heralded the Liberation of Paris.
Trains arrive here from: the west and south-west of France (the south of Normandy, Brittany, Pays de Loire, the city of Tours by TGV high-speed train, Poitou-Charentes, Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrénées) and the north-west of Spain.
The station is open every day (including public holidays) from 4.30am to 1.15am in the morning.
Baggage lockers are available every day (including public holidays) from 7am to 11pm - Level +1.

Prices

Locker fees (flat-rate fee for initial 24-hour rental period): small locker - €5.50; medium locker - €7.50; large locker - €9.50. Then €5 per each additional 24-hour period.
