Description

A free public service run by the SNCF intended to facilitate journeys for disabled people. Its ambition is to organize the journey for a better accessibility to stations and to trains.
Its objectives are:
- to guarantee and adapt the reception and the accompaniment to the train at the departure and/or arrival station;
- to circulate information between the services to ensure the journeys of disabled people are taken care of.
Now available in more than 350 stations, this free SNCF service has been available since 1 October 2009, for every person holding a disability, priority or car park card, for those who in possession of a war pension card and those that arrive at the station in their own wheelchair.
