Place Dauphine

Yves Montand and Simone Signoret made this famous when they took up residence at n° 15 ... Situated on the Ile de la Cité, behind the Palais de Justice, Place Dauphine is the capital’s second Royal Square after the Place des Vosges.
With a rich historical and architectural past, the place today retains its peaceful atmosphere due to the thickness of the walls of the buildings surrounding it, protecting it from noise pollution. The square has several art galleries and cafes and of course is a favourite haunt of loving couples.
