The immersive exhibition Kandinsky. The Odyssey of Abstraction at the Atelier des Lumières plunges you into the creative universe of the artist Wassily Kandinsky.

The 10-minute show featuring images projected on the walls compiles the major works by the prominent abstract painter, after an introduction focusing on his early career in figurative art.

To be enjoyed after watching another immersive exhibition: Cézanne, the Lights of Provence.

Atelier des Lumières

Located between Bastille and Nation, in a former foundry in the eleventh arrondissement of Paris, the Atelier des Lumières holds monumental immersive exhibitions. Using 140 video projectors and a spatialised sound system, the highly unique multimedia equipment covers a total surface area of 3,300 m², extending from the floors to the ceilings and over walls up to 10 m high.
