Description

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the creation of the famous art gallery in the Marais, Thaddaeus Ropac is showing the collective and evolving exhibition 30 Years in Paris at his site in Pantin. Organized in three parts, it unveils the historic works of Robert Mapplethorpe, Sigmar Polke and Andy Warhol, alongside more recent works by Tony Cragg, Jack Pierson and Yan Pei-Ming, among other contemporary art celebrities. Show runs from 6 December 2020 to 26 June 2021.

Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac Paris Pantin

Austrian gallery owner Thaddaeus Ropac has transformed a former copperware factory in an art gallery in Pantin. A few steps away from Hermés and Chanel, the venue has more than 5,000m2 of exhibition space, allowing for presentations of large-scale works and installations. The Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery has works by artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Georg Baselitz, Gilbert & George, David Salle, Tony Cragg and Anselm Kiefer.
