From 22 April to 23 August 2020, the Grande Halle will host the exhibition Revolutions. Five Years that changed the World, an immersive journey though time to explore the most influential revolutions of the late 1960s.

More than 400 iconic works of art from the period take visitors to the centre of events in May ’68 in Paris, the Swinging Sixties fashion revolution in London and to the Woodstock music festival in the United States with its hippie culture.

Grande Halle de La Villette

The Grande Halle, a stone's throw from the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, is the former abattoir of La Villette. Built between 1865 and 1867, it is listed as a historical monument. Restored between 2005 and 2007 by Bernard Reichen and Philippe Robert, it is one of the city's top spots for culture, hosting shows, concerts, exhibitions and festivals.

- Physical disability: parking spaces can be reserved at least 24hrs in advance, all areas are accessible.
- Visually impaired: 3D tactile model at reception, Braille and large print documents, outdoor cinema with audio described and subtitled films.
- Hearing impaired: a member of staff at reception is trained in French Sign Language, there is also an induction hearing loop at reception.
