Description

The Musée Rodin is focussing on a specific aspect of Auguste Rodin’s work: his love for the world of dance. This father of modern sculpture created a series of work titled ‘Dance Movements’. Drawing inspiration from the dancers Loïe Fuller and Hanako, then guided by his passion for Isadora Duncan, Rodin set out to capture the beauty of the art of dance in art form in a number of drawings and  sculptures, which are being presented together at the museum over the next few months.
