Car-free day in Paris

October 2018

Paris - 75 Paris

Description

On Sunday 1st October 2017, Paris’s third car-free day will empty the entire city of cars! From 11am to 6pm, the city will be closed to car traffic and turned over to pedestrians. For once, Parisians and visitors alike can get around and enjoy free events in peace and quiet.

The 2017 Car Free Day is more ambitious than previous editions. The concept has been extended to the entire French capital (except for the ring road and the woods), offering an exceptional opportunity to get some fresh air in every single Paris arrondissement.

Make it an outing with family or friends: put on your roller skates, hop on your bicycle or get on your walking shoes, and set off to take in the sights of Paris. You’ll find the capital has never been this quiet!
