1 carrefour de Longchamp - 75016 Paris

Bois de Boulogne - 16e Arrondissement

Based on photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s eponymous 2015 documentary, Human is a huge permanent audio-visual exhibition at the Goodplanet Foundation.

For three years, the teams working on Human travelled to every continent to meet men and women of all origins, and asked each of them the same universal questions, e.g. ‘Do you feel you are a free person?’ ‘What is the meaning of life?’ ‘What message would you give the planet’s inhabitants?’ The people they talked to spontaneously revealed their secrets, fears and hopes.

Over an expanse of more than 500 m², the exhibition displays 8 hours’ worth of new footage from the documentary: an exceptional archive of images of humankind in our time.

Domaine de Longchamp

In a superb green setting, this estate is situated between the Longchamp Racecourse and the Parc de Bagatelle. The 19th century château and the 13th century tower are the jewels in its crown. The GoodPlanet Foundation, created in 2005 by Yann-Arthus Bertrand, has invested in these venues in order to raise public awareness about ecology and preserving the environment through exhibitions, debates, concerts, screenings, a permanent collection of musical instruments from all over the world, and more.

Sustainable development approach

In the spirit of the programme "La solution est dans l'assiette!" ("The solution is in the plate!"); the Domaine has a daring food charter of which the aim is to prove that it is possible to reconcile pleasure, health, and climate. This charter formalises the food requirements for food service providers.
