Every year since 2005, the European River Network coordinates the « big jump ».

Organized all over Europe, this tradition continues to enable citizens to express their attachment to their rivers. The fun activities carried out by the Marne Vive Union and citizens are thus intended to improve the quality of the water. They offer a discovery of the Marne by boat, canoe-kayak or paddle and a series of educational activities. The ideal opportunity to cool off for a good cause

Val-de-Marne

The Val-de-Marne department is located in the southeast of the capital, in the inner suburbs. On the natural side, the Bois de Vincennes and the river Marne are amongst its attractions. There are many sites of heritage, the Val-de-Marne includes the Château de Vincennes, the MAC / VAL d'Ivry-sur-Seine, the Rose Garden of L'Hay-les-Roses, Fragonard Museum of Maisons-Alfort ... The Rungis international market, which visits one Friday per month, is also located in this department, and is very accessible by public transport (metro, RER, tram, bus ...). The Val-de-Marne is also very famous for its River Marne, privileged walking locations which routes include famous taverns. Great events are held throughout the year in the Val-de-Marne: Festival of l'Oh, European Heritage Days, Music Festival ...
