In 2018 Paris will host the tenth edition of the Gay Games.

Held every four years, like the Olympic Games, the Gay Games will take place in the French capital during nine days in August 2018. This is the world’s largest sporting, cultural and festive event in the work open to all, with no prior selection.

More than an event celebrating sport and sporting values, the Gay Games is an advocate for diversity and offers everyone an opportunity to take part. The programme includes sports events, conferences, cultural events, festivities, etc.

Gay Games Paris 2018 is expecting 15,000 participants from 70 countries to take part in 36 sporting events. These are open to all, to as wide a public as possible, regardless of age, religion, sexual orientation, health or level of sporting achievement. The disciplines include: diving, swimming, synchronised swimming, water-polo, running, badminton, beach volley, bowling, boxing, cycling, fencing, hockey, figure skating, football, golf, handball, martial arts, roller skating, rowing, squash, tennis, and triathlon.
