Due to its temporary closure for renovation work, the Bridgestone Museum of Art in Tokyo is lending 76 of its pictorial treasures to the Musée de l’ Orangerie in Paris, from 5 April  to 21 August 2017. Bringing together the masterpieces of great artists such as Picasso, Caillebotte, Monet, Pollock and Matisse, the exhibition 'Tokyo-Paris' offers visitors in Paris a wonderful opportunity to discover one of the finest private collections of modern and contemporary art. A rare opportunity not to be missed!

Musée de l'Orangerie

In impressively-sized rooms, the Musée de la l'Orangerie houses a series of large Water Lilies paintings which are masterpieces offered by Monet himself to France in 1922. The basement houses the Jean Walter and Paul Guillaume collections which are dedicated to the great names of the 20th century: Renoir, Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso, Soutine ...
