The unmissable event in the world of badminton, the Yonex French Open will take place from 23 to 28 October at Stade Pierre de Coubertin. At this international competition, there will be matches in five disciplines: Ladies' Singles, Men's Singles, Ladies' Doubles, Men's Doubles, Mixed Doubles.

In 2007 (21 years after its creation) this tournament became one of the 12 stages on the prestigious BWF World Tour (the MetLife World Superseries),and this year the French Open is bringing together the 250 best players in the world. Goal of this championship: to put on a show for the public and to crown new champions to succeed the Malaysian Lee Chong Wei for the Men's title and Spanish Carolina Marin in the Ladies'.

Stade Pierre de Coubertin

A few minutes from Parc des Princes, the Stade Coubertin (1937) hosts annual sporting events (World fencing championships, Open GDF Suez de tennis, Internationaux de France de Badminton...) and others (World badminton championships, in 2010, final of the men's French volleyball championships in 2011 and 2012 ...).
