Description

The festival Fnac Live takes place on the forecourt of the City Hall with a series of free concerts that each year gathers almost 100,000 spectators. Now a main staple of the Parisian summer season, this event offers 3 days of concerts featuring thirty or so artists, with a range of musical repertoires.

The former Place de Grève, used in the past to hold public executions, is today the more festive Place de l’Hôtel de Ville and used for public entertainment: an artificial beach during the “Paris Plages” event, a giant ice rink during the winter festivities, trade fairs and a giant screen for large sporting events are all installed here.
