Tréteaux nomades

August 2023

Paris et Île-de-France - 75 Paris

Description

For 20 years now, Tréteaux Nomades has marked the end of summer in Paris. This is a travelling festival that comes to the Arènes de Montmartre. Organised by the Compagnie du Mystère Bouffe, this festival presents a series of shows, including various types of performing arts, burlesque theatre, music, poetry and popular shows. The company brings back to the stage several great characters from the theatrical repertoire: D'Artagnan, Quasimodo, Cinderella, and so on.

The festival Tréteaux Nomades takes over some unusual venues in the French capital. The Arènes de Montmartre, Hôtel de Beauvais, Pré Saint-Gervais and other quirky spots, indoor and out, make up the backdrop for the festival shows. Every year the festival attracts an ever-larger crowd of Parisians and visitors from further afield, who flock to enjoy the shows put on by this arts company.
