More than a name, Alain Ducasse has become a veritable institution. He owns several restaurants in different parts of France, but one of his most iconic is that of the Plaza Athénée. The star chef's food is designed around three main ingredients: fish, vegetables, and cereals. The fruits and vegetables come from the Jardin de la Reine in Versailles, the fish from Brittany. Alain Ducasse enhances and redefines these products with his skill and technique. The wine menu is superb. The decor, extraordinary and intimate, brings out the beauty of the materials. The restaurant has drawn on the best artisans and designers: Jean Bertaud, Robert Thébault, Pierre-Yves Le Floch', Bruno Sachet, Sophie Mallebranche, Hidetotsu Kawakatsu, Shinichiro Ogata, Georg Jensen, Pierre Tachon, Tina Frey ...
