Description

Located in the heart of Paris, not far from the Grands Boulevards and the main theatres, is the brasserie Julien, a listed historical monument. It is one of the most elegant art nouveau brasseries. With its art nouveau decor, spectacular mouldings, huge mirrors and molten glass floral paintings, Julien is in an exceptional setting, serving a sophisticated and elegant cuisine.
In 1938, Julien Barbarin, who inherited the restaurant in 1920, gave his name to it and it has since been known as 'Chez Julien'. Edith Piaf and her friends loved eating here, which is not far from where her love, Marcel Cerdan, used to train.
