Description

L’auberge du clou was named after the ‘pratique du clou’: in the past, artists would hang a painting on the wall to pay for their lunch! On the ground floor, the atmosphere is typical of a Parisian bistro, with a counter, round tables, heated terrace, etc. On the first floor however, it feels more like a traditional restaurant which is both relaxed and friendly. Customers can sit by the fire and enjoy food that is 100% French and created using market-fresh products. One of the house specialties is the Aveyron Aligot, which you should only opt for if you are very hungry! You can also bring your own wine, for which the restaurant doesn’t have a corking fee.
