The Paris Tourist Office was created in 1971, at the joint initiative of the Paris City Council and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris. It carries out three essential missions: it welcomes visitors, provides information about Paris and promotes the Paris destination. In order to do this, the Tourist Office offers visitors 2 reception points, open all year round, with efficient multilingual staff and self-service documentation on Paris (free maps and guidebooks), the essential tickets for a stay in Paris: Paris Passlib', transport, Paris Museum Pass, Louvre, Disneyland, Versailles, cruises on the Seine ... From the 2nd of May to the 31st of October : everyday from 9am to 7pm ; from the 1st of November to the 30th of April : everyday from 10am to 7pm. Closed on the 1st of May.

- Hearing impairment: reception desk equipped with a magnetic loop.
- Mental disability: trained staff, signage with simple pictograms at the level of the displayed brochures.
