Description

The annex to the 14th arrondissement’s town hall is a fine brick building built in 1931 by architect Georges Sébille and now classified as a historic monument. The façade is decorated with two bas-reliefs by sculptor Raymond Delamarre. Inside, visitors can admire Louis Barillet’s stained-glass window and the impressive wall paintings by Robert Poughéon, Jean Despujols and Fernand Heurtenberger. Art deco metalworker Raymond Subes and master glassmaker Auguste Labouret also contributed to the interior decoration.
