Théâtre Édouard VII

10 place Édouard VII - 75009 Paris

Opéra - Grands Boulevards - 9e Arrondissement

Ideally situated between the Madeleine and the Opéra Garnier, the Theatre Edouard VII is a leading Parisian theatre. Founded in the beginning of the 20th Century, it offers an exceptional architectural setting and its Bar Anglais is classed as an historic monument. The biggest artists have performed at the Theatre Edouard VII, such as Sacha Guitry, Sarah Bernhardt, Orson Welles, Vivian Leigh ... The varied programme alternates between classics (Guitry, Feydeau) and contemporary (Tennessee Williams, Florian Zeller, Sébastien Thiéry, Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière - Le Prénom). From September 2015, the Theatre Edouard VII has become "English friendly!" and from now on offers its performances with English subtitles for non-French speakers (in partnership with "Théâtre in Paris").

From the terrace: view of the pedestrian Place Edouard VII, at the heart of Paris and away from traffic. Views of a colonnade and statue of King Edouard VII.
