Description

The Odeon - Théâtre de l'Europe is the oldest theater-monument in Europe to still operate in its original premises. A place full of tradition, it has never lost contact with contemporary creation. Since 2003, the second auditorium of the Odéon at the Ateliers Berthier in the 17th arrondissement has been used to host new theatrical forms by adapting to the most modern scenographies.

Accessibility information

- Physical disability: access via Place Paul Claudel which leads to the arcades on rue Corneille, entrance on one level with entry phone. Cashdesk with dropped section, adapted bathroom equipped with transfer bar and accessible sink. A lift goes to all floors.
- Visual impairment: headset with audio description for some performances. State whether you have a preference for an end-of-row seat if you have a guide dog with you, or for a first-row seat if you have a sight impairment. Also, performances with simultaneous audio description by a student actor by your side. All these services are free.
- Hearing impairment: headphone amplifiers available. Surtitles on screens stage right and stage left, simultaneous translation in French Sign Language for some performances. All these services are free.
