Following a serious fire on April 15, 2019, Notre Dame Cathedral, its treasure and towers are closed until further notice. The forecourt has been accessible again since May 31, 2020.

Visitor toolsAudio guides are available at the entrance to the cathedral. They provide 35 minutes of commentary in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese. Opening times: from 9.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday.

Entrance fees and modalities
French: Monday to Friday, at 2pm and 3pm (except the first Friday of the month and every Friday during Lent); Saturdays and Sundays at 2.30pm.
German: Fridays and Saturdays at 2pm.
English: Wednesdays and Thursdays at 2pm; Saturdays at 2.30pm.
Spanish: Saturdays at 2.30pm.
Italian: Thursdays at 2pm.
Russian: Wednesdays at 2pm; Saturdays at 2.30pm.
Chinese: The 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2.30pm.
Japanese: Fridays at 2pm (Thursdays some weeks).
