Description

Created in 1933 by the architect George Sébille, on the site of the old Vaugirard gas works, the Square Saint-Lambert is a public garden and a listed monument. On a stroll through the park, visitors can discover a number of statues: a Dog by René Paris (1928), Bear cubs by Victor Peter (1928) and a bas-relief (1939) by Auguste Guénot. The garden has an ornamental pond with a fountain, two symmetrical lawns and a fan shaped terrace. It has a view of the Eiffel Tower. There are also play areas for children, a small open-air theatre, and a shared garden for associations.
