Description

Opened in 1949, you can now discover more than five hundred statues of plaster, marble and bronze in the gardens and the workshops where Antoine Bourdelle once worked and lived (1861-1929). Enter the world of the colleague of Rodin, the master of Giacometti, Germaine Richier, Vieira de Silva. The sculptur created the decor of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. Christian de Portzamparc's contemporary extension of the museum gives a new dimension to Antoine Bourdelle's work.
