Description

This garden, the idea of Jules Gravereaux, was designed by landscape gardener Édouard André in 1899 and comprises 3,177 varieties of ancient roses. A work of art awarded the distinction 'Jardin remarquable' ('Remarkable Garden') and given historic monument status.

Exceptional closure

The rose garden is closed between the end of September and the beginning of May.

Opening times

Open from the beginning of May until mid-September, 10am-7pm. June is the best time to see the roses in bloom.
