The Grande Synagogue de Paris, also known as Synagogue de la Victoire, was inaugurated in 1874 and classed as a historical monument in 1987. The building, with its beautiful Romanesque façade, is located in the 9th arrondissement. Visitors can also step inside to admire the interior and the soaring nave. The Synagogue de la Victoire is the centre of the Jewish community of Paris’s spiritual life. Official ceremonies and communal activities are held here throughout the year.

Entrance fees and modalities

Independent tour

Tours are not available for individuals and families. They may attend a religious service (Fridays 6.30pm ; Saturdays 9.30am ; Tuesdays and Fridays 7.45am), giving the Grande Synagogue notice of their arrival.

Group tour
