COVID-19: reopening of the Musée de l'Homme on 24June 2020
The Galerie de l'Homme and the temporary exhibitions "Je mange donc je suis" (until 31 August 2020) and "Être beau" (until 31 December 2020)

Description

After six years of renovation work, the Musée de l’Homme reopened at the end of 2015. The museum occupies a wing of the Palais de Chaillot. It invites visitors to reflect on the very essence of humankind: Who are we? Where do we come from? What is our future? The vast 2,500 m² Galerie de l'Homme showcases the permanent collections - some of the richest anthropology and ethnology collections in the world. Don't leave without seeing the glass roof by Davioud, a vestige of the former palace of 1878!
