Description

After six years of renovation work, the Musée de l’Homme reopened at the end of 2015. The museum occupies a wing of the Palais de Chaillot. It invites visitors to reflect on the very essence of humankind: Who are we? Where do we come from? What is our future? The vast 2,500 m² Galerie de l'Homme showcases the permanent collections - some of the richest anthropology and ethnology collections in the world. Don't leave without seeing the glass roof by Davioud, a vestige of the former palace of 1878!
