Description

On the Paris Rive Gauche campus, a stone’s throw from the Bibliothèque nationale de France and facing the Seine, stands the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris Val de Seine. The site is a former compressed air factory, built in 1891 by architect Guy Lebris and engineer Joseph Leclaire. The metal and brick building and tall chimney are listed as historic monuments. The adjacent modern building was designed by architect Frédéric Borel to form a harmonious ensemble. The School of Architecture organises a programme of cultural events including exhibitions and conferences.
