Physical disability:
- All areas of the museum are accessible for wheelchair users
- Almost all cultural activities (visits, workshops, talks, shows, ...) are accessible.
- The address 222 rue de l’Université, with a lift, is the recommended entrance.
- Car park at the museum (not free) with many equipped spaces.
- For the easily fatigued, it is advisable to access the museum through the administrative entrance on rue de l'Université, which avoids going through the door.
- Reserved places for wheelchair users in the cinema and in the Claude Lévi-Strauss theatre.
- Wheelchairs, cane seats and walkers are on loan in the cloakroom for people those with mobility issues.

Visual impairment:
- Descriptive and tactile guided tours (2 per semester) and narrated tours through the Plateau of collections, or in the exhibitions.
- Music or dance workshops
- Sessions of "Shared readings in the dark" or "Exploring a work of art in the dark" (tactile discovery of an object from the collections) in the Reading Room.
- The Tactile Exploration Guide: a tactile trail of discovery of 7 objects from the collections (with tactile notebook, accompanying text in large print and Braille, audio guide).
- The audioguided trail of "La Rivière", located in the centre of the collections area, combining tactile and sound devices as well as directions on how to get about.
- Audio guides are available free of charge at the reception desk.
- Magnifiers, binoculars and flashlights can be picked up from the cloakroom.
- Tactile and sound based model of the museum at the reception desk and tactile maps over the course of the visit.
- Told or tactile visits through the collection area or in the exhibitions are offered (tactile and sound devices with audio guide).
- The Jacques Kerchache Reading Room and the museum's media library offer adapted computer equipment.
- Someone available who accompanies a guided tour and quietly describes the visual elements necessary for comprehension.

Hearing Impairment:
- Each semester programmes:
¤ 2 guided tours in french sign language
¤ 2 guided lip-reading tours based on French sign language
¤ Events at the Jacques Kerchache Reading Room
- For the museum's permanent collections, subtitled video guides in French sign language are available.
- At the beginning of each exhibition at Galerie Jardin and on the West mezzanine, an introductory video in French sign language presents the general purpose and main points of the exhibition.
- The iPad application "Quai Branly Experts", for all children, in French sign language, with sound and subtitles, is available on loan free of charge at the reception desk in the museum hall.
- Sign language spoken by museum staff.

Mental disability:
- The museum offers adapted guided tours (2 per semester) and storytelling tours in the museum collections and exhibitions.
- All workshops are accessible to people with mental disabilities.
- The iPad application "Quai Branly Experts", designed for all children, is available on loan free of charge at the reception desk in the museum hall.
- Some parts of the museum are dark. Flashlights can be borrowed free of charge from the cloakroom.
