6 rue de Lota - 75116 Paris

Trocadéro - Passy - 16e Arrondissement

In 1934 Paris, the most renowned photography studio was that under the eye of Cosette Harcourt. A legendary house emblematic of the Parisian high society, Studio Harcourt is known for immortalizing films stars as well as anyone else who wanted to be framed in elegance. A Studio Harcourt portrait was unique, not only for its brand, but also its use of light, and was a symbol of the know-how directly passed on from the great black-and-white film directors. It was also a token of an unparalleled experience, to model on the prestigious set of the Studio Harcourt, joining the ranks of great artists from Edith Piaf to Halle Berry to Cate Blanchett, from Salvador Dali to Franz Ferdinand.

On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the exhibition space is opened up so you can discover the studios as well as archive treasures, authentic materials, and famous portraits. Guided tours are also available upon request. When you visit, walk in the footsteps of the greats and discover the behind-the-scenes know-how of this legendary photographic studio.
