La Place - Centre Culturel Hip Hop

Welcome to La Place, a venue for culture and creation funded by the City of Paris and the Département de Seine Saint Denis, an innovative project for the Grand Paris of Culture! La Place is the first cultural centre entirely dedicated to Hip Hop and brings together all the disciplines of the movement under one roof. Its unique programming bringing together five pillars (dance, rap, DJ'ing, beatbox and graffiti) expresses all the artistic richness of hip hop. This is La Place's primary mission: to consider Hip Hop as an art and to make it known to as many people as possible - this culture is characterized by its capacity to gather and federate people from different horizons in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
The Coursive and the Bar / Accueil offer a breathtaking view of the Canopée des Halles, the Forum des Halles, the garden and the former Paris Stock Exchange, the future Parisian site of the Pinault Foundation.
