The restaurant
Graduated from the prestigious National Cooking School Tsuji Chou, in Tokyo, Japan, Akira SUGIURA chose the restaurant Lumen to present his Italian-Japanese fusion cuisine compiled in a trilogy of meat, fish and pasta. His cuisine is healthy and natural, channels many styles of cooking, ranging from most simple to complex.
He travelled the world to discover new flavours, from Paris to Sydney, via Savona and Florence. Here, he fell in love with Italian cuisine. During his work in Tokyo, he fervently worked for years to curate Italian-Japanese fusion cuisine that paved way to become the great chef that he is today.
