‘Montmartre en chansons’ (‘Montmartre in songs’) is a new and unusual musical outing that takes place every Saturday afternoon and on other special dates. Through anecdotes and songs, visitors trace the steps of famous singers who once lived in the district: Edith Piaf and her lovers, Charles Aznavour and Jacques Brel in their early days and Dalida and her life in Montmartre … Along the way, discover the Maison Rose, the iconic cabaret Au Lapin Agile, the former guinguette du Moulin de la Galette, the ‘I Love You’ wall, the grape vines of the Clos Montmartre, the impressive Sacré-Coeur and the famous cabarets that made the Butte famous… You will recognize the ‘La Bohème’ of Charles Aznavour, the ‘Hymne à l’Amour’ of Edith Piaf, ‘Quand on n’a que l’amour’ of Jacques Brel, ’Le Temps des fleurs’ of Dalida and many other songs that pay tribute to the district.
