Iconic French sporting venues will of course be playing their part. The Stade de France will host the athletics and rugby events and football matches will take place at the Parc des Princes and in other stadiums in France (Nice, Marseille, Nates, Bordeaux...). As for tennis and boxing events, they will be held at the prestigious Roland Garros stadium.

The Seine, the capital's iconic river, is at the heart of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games will be held on and around the river. This unique ceremony will be held outside a stadium for the first time and the public will be able to greet the athletes as they parade in floating boats on the Seine. The route ends at the Trocadéro for a grand finale. The spectacle will undoubtedly be unforgettable. See you on 26 July 2024!

A great way to celebrate this upcoming grand event!
