Looking for activities to do with teens this summer? Head to Mad Dimension, the ephemeral and instagrammable museum! Visitors are invited to get into the spirit of things in the mysterious, colourful and luminous atmospheres, and give free rein to their imagination while taking pictures of themselves. An experience to share until 20 September 2020.
Fondation Royaumont : a summer of culture
Every Sunday in summer at 3.30pm, soak up some culture at the Royal Abbey of Royaumont. Kids and grown-ups will enjoy these 45-minute sessions: a jazz concert, opera, dance, or storytelling. The performances are included in the price of the entrance ticket to visit the abbey.
Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac : ‘Jardin des contes’ (story garden)
This summer, there is story telling in the garden of the Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac museum. Sitting comfortably, kids (from 6 years old) will be enchanted by stories and legends from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas. Every Saturday from 3 to 6pm. A bucolic and relaxing break freely accessible within the limit of available places.
Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac : Mini beehive workshop
Take a nature break! Go along with the family to the garden at the Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac museum. Every Sunday from 2 to 6pm you can take part in a workshop to make a small bee’s nest box. You will learn all about these small pollinating insects that are so important for our ecosystem.
Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac : Quizzes: ‘Les berceuses du monde / Ambiances du monde’ (lullabies from around the world)
Learn all about lullabies and songs for children from all over the world! Every Wednesday and Friday from 3 to 4pm, children from 6 years old and their parents are invited to take part in a quiz that takes them to the four corners of the world in the garden of the museum Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac. And from 5pm to 6pm, journey to the waterside, the rainforest or even a lake, all in music. Free access subject to availability.
Domaine de Chantilly : Chantilly cream workshops
Fun for little gourmets! From 20 June to 26 August 2020, learn how to make the iconic Chantilly cream by hand with the ‘Confrérie des Chevaliers Fouetteurs’ at the Château de Chantilly. In the company of family or friends, these one-hour workshops will turn you into true pastry chefs! Equipment is provided and an apron and a cap are given to each child under 12 years old.
Domaine de Chantilly : Equestrian show ‘Du manège à la scène’
From 18 July to 20 August 2020, kids and grown-ups are invited to discover the equestrian show ‘Du manège à la scène’ at the Chantilly estate. Dazzling, striking, and poetic performances reveal the special relationship between riders and their horses.

Musée de l’Armée : Family game trail, missions (im)possible at Invalides
Now that it has reopened, go and explore the Musée de l'Armée - Les Invalides via a new game trail to play with family or friends. The game involves: outdoor research and visits to different areas of the Museum. Simply pick up a mission book at the reception desk and go off in search of the QR codes scattered throughout the monument. Along the way, you’ll discover more about the fascinating history of the Hôtel National des Invalides, which this year celebrates its 350th anniversary!
Fun with chalk at Little Villette – cultural and recreational trails for kids
From 2 July to 2 August 2020, the outdoor spaces of Little Villette will be full of kids for three chalk-based activities: a flowery fresco, a dance itinerary, and a giant mandala. These free activities take place every weekend from 3pm to 7pm.
Ferme Tiligolo - La Villette
To be a farmer for a day is the dream of all kids! From 4 to 12 July, head to La Villette to discover the pedagogical farm Tiligolo! Here, the farmer clown invites children to pet, feed and pamper the baby animals. Sweet and gentle moments to enjoy.
Molinard : family perfume workshop
Making one’s own perfume is the dream of kids and adults alike! Molinard is offering a discovery workshop for adults and kids from 4 years old to compose the perfume of their dreams.
