Church

In front of the Square Viviani (in which you can see the oldest tree in Paris: it was planted in 1620) stand Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre (where people say Dante may have pray). It was built in the XIIth century and significantly modified in the XVIIth century (present façade). It used to be a salt loft during the Revolution and eventually given to the Melchite Church (Catholic Greek Church) in 1889.
Outside: butresses (XIIth century).
Inside: Pillars (adorned with harpies)
The church is fiited out according to the Byzantine rite.
