A chance to explore the world of French puppet theatre. Why not ask your kids to take you along to see this unique French cultural experience with its traditional characters such as Guignol, Gnafron, Madelon or Gendarme?...
Guignol came originally from Lyon but has been adopted eagerly by Paris and is known the world over.
In fact, Guignol and his friends are hiding in various spots around the city and are just waiting for you in order to start their show. The Jardin d’Acclimatation, the Parc Floral, Buttes Chaumont or Montsouris are some of their favourite playgrounds. Each play lasts around half an hour, entertaining kids and grown-ups alike, inciting them trounce the baddies, encourage the goodies and support the hero.
So come along to the next performance. The kids? They’re already there!
