More and more activities and classes popular with Parisians are opening up to visitors from elsewhere. Whether it be to learn the finer points of cooking, French songs, silk painting or foreign languages, these personal development sessions are also an excellent way to meet other people.
“¡New Amigos!” evenings
With the “¡New Amigos!” evenings, organised once a week at the Tribar (11th), locals and visitors discover the world by meeting new people.
Every Tuesday at 7pm, participants play the fun and simple “¡New Amigos!” game which aims to teach you a new language in no time. Players can choose from Spanish, French, Dutch, German, English, Italian and Norwegian and 3 levels of proficiency: beginner, intermediate or expert. French-speakers and visitors from other countries sit together around the table with a drink in an ideal atmosphere for making new friends.
