The Paris Carnival Company "Les Fumantes de Pantruche" invites one and all to come and party in eastern Paris ?

Les Fumantes de Pantruche is an association that has been working for the past several years to revive the traditional Paris Carnival, also known as Saint-Fargeau.
Each year, the association organises a festive costumed parade through Paris with a stately Limousine cow in a splendid red robe heading the procession. Called Pimprenelle Saint-Fargeau II, she is the carnival mascot and will lead the Fatted Ox parade (the Fatted Ox being a reference to a popular 16th century tradition).
The theme of the eleventh edition is “La Ronde des Beaux Arts”. The parade will wind its way from the Rue Vau in the 20th to the Avenue Victoria facing the Hôtel de Ville in the 4th. This is a great opportunity for all you little and not-so-little ones to dust off your disguises and join this colourful musical parade.
